On Sunday 29th November Wilnecote Cllrs Roy rogers and Tina Clements organised their annual food collection to help the most vulnerable people in the community.
This year working with Tamworth pantry a total of 46 bags of donations were collected. This was passed to Tamworth pantry who are already working with 75 families over the festive period to provide food hampers with a few treats especially for those with children.
Cllr Clements said 'this year Christmas is going to be harder for so many more people than ever before and every year we are overwhelmed with what people give, some who have very little themselves. we want as many people to be able to enjoy a little treat and have a little bit extra over Christmas. We want to thank all who donated and wish all of the residents of Wilnecote a Very Merry Christmas
