Alex is a Staffordshire County Councillor for Lichfield Rural South, a Lichfield District Councillor for Fazeley ward and a Fazeley Town Councillor.
He is also the Deputy Leader of the Opposition on Staffordshire County Councillor and Cabinet Member for Housing & Local Plan on Lichfield District Councillor.
Alex's love for his home area of Fazeley is what motivates him to be a councillor.
When he's not working as a councillor, Alex runs Radio Tamworth, a community radio station he has managed since 2017, and he is a keen table tennis, playing for Hopwas Jokers in the Tamworth and District Table Tennis Association.

What motivated Alex to become a councillor?
Three generations of my family have lived in Fazeley and he really wanted to represent the area he lives in and have grown up in.
Background outside the council
Alex spent many years working as a radio producer, starting my career not too far away at Radio Tamworth. He now runs his own events company and travel across the UK visiting visitor attractions and putting on family-friendly events and experiences.
Hobbies or interests
Alex loves the theatre and eating nice food. Food is his number one hobby!
